'Oshi no ko' and 'how do we relationship' have been keeping me going. Highly recommend 'how do we relationship' at least, it's a queer drama but the way the mangaka writes characters is so beautiful. They're imperfect, multidimensional, and easy to relate to and sympathize with.

I half thought about doing contract work or taking multiple lower paying roles, but that's so risky and it feels sleey taking multiple jobs when others don't have one. I'll take the link, it's good to keep options open since at my current place the 'if' I starting to feel like 'when'.

You rock for setting up the bookclub. I've also felt guilt not participating as frequently but your work is appreciated

Work is driving me mad. I want to quit but have nothing to fall back on and the tech market is ass and the genocide is demotivating me from wanting to do anything. But that's been in the back of my head for months so I'm learning to manage and revolutionary optimism/organizing is keeping me afloat. It's just this damn job in the way.

One of the exerts from Columbus' diary in A peoples history of the United States mentioned that the Native population on Turtle Island were docile and friendly, then he said they would make good servants. It's fascinating how evil the culture is and has been, even to their own before whiteness was created.

Cat is on a fast to see if they'll throw up again, and if so straight to emergency. Until then, I feel like a terrible parent starving my children.

Every child of the world is my child. I don't really like kids but I want them all to be protected and educated and fed and happy.

Now both cats have diarrhea.

I let the vet know and they said both should be seen but there aren't appointments for both. Said if they're vomitting then take one in for emergency because they can't get enough water to rehydrate. I said when i called yesterday they said wait because one has both symptoms, they checked again and said just monitor for more vomitting. I am so confused, I don't get how any of this works and every time my baby vomits he's looking for more food because it didn't go down and digest. How do I even know if it's a bad vet?

One cat pooped on the clothes on my floor while I was at work. There's 2 litter boxes in the apartment, so even if mine was bad there's still the other one. I assume it was second born because he's been sick the past 2 weeks and he threw up again today. I'm so worried about him but the vet said since his behavior is normal he might be fine and they'll still check for a regular visit later in the week. I can still smell the poop and I'm paranoid there's more piles somewhere

My second born threw up around 3-4 times in the past week and some change and I wouldn't be worried if he also didn't have diarhea last night. I noticed some wet poo in the litter box but couldnt tell which cat did it, this morning it looked like the first born had wet poo too. Im starting to think it's the food eventhough it wasn't changed.

I don't even know if it's picky or not anymore to not want to date someone that ask, unless it's related to requesting an STD panel or something.

I remember seeing a thread saying something along the lines of should you disclose body count to someone that asked and most of the comments mentioned that it was both unimportant/immature but also should be disclosed anyway and not doing so is a red flag.
