i can't say my experience browsing this website has improved since this whole 'federation' business. i type 'hexbear.net' in my internet browser expecting to see posts from that website, but instead i see a bunch of posts from a different website called 'Lemmy' filled with some of the most reddit-brained people outside of reddit. (nevermind that half the posts are meta-posts about the site itself) i just wanna browse hexbear, dammit! if i wanted to browse those other websites i would just do that.
