  • i never had them, i just pirate everything. frankly it's less hassle most of the time, i just download what i wanna watch to my laptop and plug it into the tv, saves me the headache of using their apps too. Also found out recently that there's a modded version of spotify for android that gives the premium features without a subscription and have been really enjoying that.

  • i don't get the obsession with going online everyday to tell the same 50 dipshits that you think the ussr was bad. like ok???? literally who cares, it hasn't existed for 30 years and any future communist projects, although they make take some inspiration/ideas from the ussr, will probably look very different from the ussr.

  • I guess I can officially say that my transition is "complete" now that I've fully recovered from my orchi and don't plan on having any more surgeries, which is very fulfilling. It's kind of crazy to be on the other side of things now, 4 years ago I couldn't imagine having a life like this but now I feel like I've finally made it. So that's great.

My girlfriend and I just reached 6 months of dating which is also exciting, we have a trip into the mountains planned for the weekend and I'm very much looking forward to that. She's very puppygirl-brained so I plan on bringing the leash and dog bowl 😏

I still need to work on my self-worth issues though, I've been talking with my therapist about it but it's just feels so deeply ingrained in me that it'll probably take a looong time to get over. I sort of reflexively default to thinking no one actually cares about me, and if they do then they will change their mind when they actually get to know me, which ends up paralyzing me in a lot of social situations. Which is crazy because I've made more "real" friends lately than I have ever previously had in my lifetime, so clearly people like having me around, but still these feelings of worthlessness still persist, like I'm always waiting for everything to fall apart.

humor is a good coping mechanism for me, I enjoy trying to make others laugh and generally being silly. I've been trying to avoid more negative stuff in general and focus on the positives like spending time with my friends/partners and working on my more creative hobbies.

We didn't get the codification of Roe v. Wade like he said he would, we didn't get the repeal of capital punishment like he said, we didn't get marijuana decriminalization like his campaign promised, we didn't get universal pre-k or 2 years of free community college, didn't get the public option or any meaningful healthcare reform I can remember, DURING A PANDEMIC MIND YOU. I don't remember any significant immigration reform, I don't think Build Back Brandon is quite the silver bullet to this country's infrastructure issues, and he doesn't really show any sense of urgency for the escalating genocide of queer folk in right-wing states.

But hey yeah sure I'll vote for him I guess.

  • I vaguely remember seeing videos of "designated camping spots" in some west coast city. I imagine the liberal approach to homeless concentration camps will be more of an indirect approach than literally rounding homeless people. They'll increase policing against homeless people in all areas except these designated "camping" spots until it gets so violent that houseless people have no choice but to self-admit themselves there, and then they'll police the borders of these camps as if they were prison camps. And liberals will hail this as the humane solution because "they chose to be there" as if our violent society hasn't left these people any other choice.

    1. Aria of Sorrow
    2. SotN
    3. Order of Ecclesia

Those are the three I have finished, I tried Circle of the Moon and didn't like it, and I never finished Rondo of Blood or Dawn of Sorrow. I want them to do another game with Shanoa, she's so fucking cool.

  • I can't talk about Jan 6th with my lib friends, it's too hard to take an angle without sounding like you're defending one of either the cops, the protesters, or the US government. Like my takeaway here would be arrest the cops too, but also there should be protests in the capitol building just with socialists instead.

I also can't talk about it because I was hootin' and hollerin' the whole time I was watching the livestream of them meandering the halls, which libs don't appreciate.

  • Probably any of the metal gear games, even though they still play pretty well imo. I got so excited in mgs4 when you returned to shadow moses with updated graphics. Honestly I would love a mgs4 remake that added more traditional metal gear stealth segments. Playing through it again makes you realize how few straightforward sneaking segments there are, chapters 1 and 2 mostly take place on a battlefield (which is very cool but different from the usual gameplay), chapter 3 is more like sneaking-lite tailing a guy around a city, and chapter 4 has very few human enemies iirc. Also I just want to be able to play them all again on something that isn't a ps3.
