·16 days agoNot too dumb to be dangerous. I served under some of those freaks, and they're plenty dangerous - but their ability to plan and coordinate is beyond weak. Their arrogance blinds them completely.
·16 days agoFuuuuuuuuuck!! We can't have shit because of racists!!! It's rather fitting for a lot of the bond films though, some of the most racist stuff gets played off so casually.

The original Connery ones were pretty solid and classic cinema... Except for the sex pest/assault parts. Non-Moore ones get more entertaining at least, I think it was really poor directing and writing tbh.
My family and I watched the entirety of the franchise in order during COVID lockdown. Every Friday, we'd drink heavily and do a peanut gallery commentary. We also listened to the Kill James Bond podcast along with it. Good times, and the only thing that can make most of those movies watchable. It really is an insufferably gross and shitty franchise. There's a couple bangers, and some incredible lines in there though.
·16 days agoI was adrift after r/cth got shut down, Reddit got more annoying, so I bailed. It was nice to be off that hell site, but I kinda missed knowing there were like minded people out there and some semblance of community... Which I don't engage much in tbh, but I'm trying to take more steps to do so. Fact is, we need each other more every day. And y'all help me to laugh so I don't get lost in despair...
But most of all, the free cookies.
I wouldn't bank on an appreciable level of intelligence and coordination from a group of people who are some of the dumbest our country has to offer - I seriously doubt they'd pull it off. They're preparing for an invasion of China, let that concept sink in. They bumble their way through losing wars and congratulate themselves on a job well done.
·17 days agoNotice - this article was written on the 8th, referencing a video from the 7th... The video in question was released last year on November 7. This is not a brand new announcement for what it's worth.
Also, the interpretation of the writer is that this will outlaw all trans healthcare for all ages. That's not exactly what was said - he's saying he wants to ban it in all federal programs - that being Medicare and Medicaid as well as VA and TriCare. This is effectively cutting off access for probably the majority of us, but it is not outlawing the practice (for adults). When it comes to minors, looks like that is a total ban on any medical gender affirming care.
We will likely see independent private pay clinics pop up as a result of this. But at the same time, he said this a year ago and hasn't really said much of anything since, so who knows if he'll follow through. Either way, we need to go forward as if he will.
Why late 2025? Can't something like this get put together sooner?
