  • Let's say, hypothetically, that the industrial revolution has consequences. It follows, logically, that these consequences have an effect on people, the human race even. Now that we have established the link between the industrial revolution and the human race, we can suppose, for the sake of the argument, that that link is negative. Is it not reasonable to assume that, in that case, the industrial revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race?
