Honestly, uncritical support for today's women fixing him, Hunter is like the one member of the bourgeoisie that I feel sorry for and want to see happy.
It says that Dostoevsky is actually pretty boring. I like Tolstoy though, especially his short stories. "Master and Man" I think is the name of one that stands out to me where a serf and his master die together in a snow storm. Real climate change vibes.
Brothers Karamazov is possibly the greatest piece of literature ever produced and I will die on that hill. He's got so many hits. Notes From the Underground slaps. Demons is amazing. Crime and Punishment is a banger. I will fight you. :chavez-guns:
I think his novels are boring. I will die on this hill, most likely of boredom.
Somebody's going through old posts! But I actually read that one yet. Recommend it?
oh yes absolutely, the first part might be arguably his best piece of work, narratively speaking. The image of the absolute end is memorable. And his best "digressions", the parts I like the most, are in that one, IMO.
by the way I just look through /c/philosophy once a month or something like that :p slow /c/
I'll definitely put it on my list then! Any translation you'd recommend over others?
Damn dog, very jealous. One day I'll learn French so I can read Proust (and others) in the original.
Intriguing. Tho on the other door you get a threesome with Hunter, another lady, and a large squirtle doll
I remember I gave my crush back in 8th grade a large Charmander doll for her birthday. It didn't go anywhere just like this comment.
I'll forever stan crime and punishment. idk about the others tho. karamazov and the idiot were meh.
