How do you beat an enemy that trains itself to kill its own children if it has to :agony-deep:

"I have to train to make sure I don't hesitate to shoot my own children" is a definite red flag outside of a zombie apocalypse, and sort of a red flag even there honestly.

Reason sucks, of course, but at least they've been consistent on the police state. Radley Balko, author of Rise of the Warrior Cop and an influential anti-police blogger, wrote for them for a long time. I read his blog back in the day for civil liberties news and there was always good reporting on the bullshit that so-called expert witnesses like to spew (especially about arson and bite marks and other pseudosciency things).

Then when he'd go on vacation and had someone substitute for him suddenly all of the posts were about how taxes are stealing.

Yeah, I think this is one of the areas of common ground that we can find with principled "classical liberals" (lol). The state monopoly on violence sucks fucking ass.

Why would it be so hard if he probably beat his kids all the time?

So, what are the chances that he forces his children watch him do this when they "act out".

This is literally what a lot of police training in the United States is. David Grossman's "killology" approach is extremely influential, and that's pretty much what the training is designed to do: convince you that, as a police officer, you're constantly at war with the citizens you're policing, and killing them is really no big deal because they're such dangerous enemy combatants.

What if there's an evil shapeshifting badguy trying to steal $5. We need to be prepared for that extremely real situation instinctively.

I feel like this text and an appropriate accompanying image could make some good pro-aboloition propaganda.

Yeah there happen to be quite a few good positions that libertarians arrive at, just via weird and different ways, like anti war, anti drug war etc. That's only real libertarians though, not Ben Shapino watching republican Gadsden larpers.

I think the easiest way to tell them apart is to ask if they think unions shouldn't exist- a free association between consenting parties to engage in a contract.

They still want to legalize pedophilia tho lmao
