Think of how devastating it would be to watch an inanimate object burn to ash, silently, slowly becoming nothing.

And now think of how emotionally scarring and nightmare inducing to watch a human being burn to ash, screaming and writhing in agony, quickly erupting and melting into merely bone and charred flesh.

For some fucking reason this is an incredibly hard to grasp idea for these utterly daft human beings.
