Hindutva fascists have a long history of trying to align themselves with anyone who'd oppose Muslims. They didn't fight against the British for India's freedom cause they believed the real enemy were the Muslims. In WW II they sided with Hitler and the Japanese. They pretended they have a connection to the "Aryan" race. Now, Israel is the newest obsession especially because of Modi's relationship with Netanyahu.

It's just that some people grudgingly accept the government's decision to be close to Israel so that we can be in a better position against Turkey, and even then I'm not sure it's even most people.
What kind of relationship does India have with Turkey? They're quite a bit separated geographically.
I don't really know what relationship they have with either Turkey or Greece. The one thing I can think of is that Turkey is quite friendly with Pakistan so maybe that's why. But I don't think Turkey ever had outwardly hostile relations with India and Greece-India relations are pretty close to completely irrelevant.
EDIT: Looked it up, looks like recently their relations have indeed become strained and it is mostly due to the Pakistan thing.
