I've been lucky enough to have lived in some truly walkable cities. One place had two supermarkets within 3 mins of my door, and two more within 10 mins walk.
Being that close fundamentally changes your shopping patterns too. You can decide what you want to cook/eat and go out and grab ingredients on the day. No more planning a week of groceries out in advance for one shopping trip.
Fuck ever getting into a car to go shopping.
This is why I don't know that I could ever move out of the city again.

This is why I loved living in houston. No zoning so you actually had stuff in walking distance for a town that is so spread out
