      US says corporations are people.

Didn't he start paying his employees 70K to fuck over his brother

Yes and even if he weren't, I can't stand the idolization people bestow on him. "I'm a rich capitalist, but I'm not like those other rich capitalists! I'm cool! I say 'tax the rich!'"

        Blech.

He paid 70k to his employees to save face after he was about to be under more intense scrutiny. This was after he'd cut his brother out of the company, and after his wife divorced him for extensive abuse.

I know nothing about him but his posts always give off HUGE grifter vibes to me. Like if Ryan Knight and Joshua 4Congress combined to form a CEO.

There was a thread on :reddit-logo: about climate change where someone was wondering how fossil fuel executives could knowingly dismiss a problem that would harm (if not kill) their children and grandchildren. A lot of people don't think through the full implications of corporations self-selecting for people who prioritize profits over human lives.

I think the biggest problem with the death penalty is the potential for it to be used in cases where someone is actually innocent. There are other problems too, but I think that's the biggest one.

If we instead set it up such that the only people eligible for execution are people who are either billionaires and/or executives at large companies, then we would no longer have that problem!
