It definitely is. It's an obvious look into how pervasive rape culture is, as well. But part of me still thinks gamers are uniquely a bit worse about this stuff
I got into so many arguments with ZeRo fans continuing to stan him after he admitted to soliciting nudes from an underage girl. So many competitive Smash fans are impressionable children, which makes the whole situation even more disgusting. They're not quite mature enough to understand the gravity of what these predators were doing.
I've had more trouble with the Nairo/Zack stuff. Zack asked for money so he wouldn't expose Nairo's predatory relationship with him. I think the age difference is 15/20, and my absolute favorite comment was i shit you not "What Nairo did was technically legally wrong, but what zack did was morally wrong", and it had like 20 upvotes. fuck my life
