Looks like Sony is going to take a different route in studio acquisition

Buy a bunch of smaller studios as opposed to Microsoft buying Bethesda and Obsidian

Which makes sense. Sony doesn't have Microsoft money. And personally I've found far more enjoyment in smaller indie games than big AAA in the last 5ish years
