currently broken, as you can tell from the removed capacitors that look like hell. replacements are in the mail and soon the Compaq Portable that it came from will be functional again.
Love the simplicity of it compared to modern PCBs. What are you planning on using the Compaq Portable for?
nostalgia mainly. my father is quite interested in me getting it back up and running as it was his childhood PC. fixing it also gives me something to other then stare at the ceiling

Damn, i need to start looking into how to fix pcb boards again. I've been spoiled with ptp, but my amp is pcb and it wants to light on fire every time i start it up.
