Well you can have good crypto currencies. One which is valid for social democratic states would be GNU Taler.
Economist here. I know you all like direct redistributive policies, but it isn't economically viable to transition to a socialist model that way. The only path forward is KushCoin, the first cryptocurrency tied to the value of cannabis.
KushCoin will only increase in value because cannabis is, like, medicine and maybe someone will buy a KushCoin hat while at a dispensary which makes the price go up.
