Okay social, economic, and political issues aside, San Francisco is probably the most beautiful city in North America, objectively. Reactionaries like this reply guy here either have never been there and are lying or they were going to hold onto all of their preconceived notions about it when they went there no matter what. The worst parts of SF are still nicer than mostly places in every Midwestern city I've lived in.

Chuds get mad that San Francisco - while not great about homeless issues - doesn't use the pigs to round up their homeless and shuffle them off for the crime of existing, like they do in whatever city they're from.

      Weird way of spelling Chicago.

I like to find the beauty and charm of every single city while telling people whats good and bad about my own city and trying to draw similarities between our cities as a form of fraternity while celebrating the differences.

The least beautiful city in North America is Gray, Indiana, which is the correct way to spell what is commonly known as Gary, Indiana.

I've only driven through, so I just looked it up myself. The fact that they were literally founded by U.S. Steel explains a lot.

Cedar Rapids, IA has to be a runner up - 2 buildings that aren't hideous, and one of them is a federal courthouse, so not a good sign.

Nah, Boston is gorgeous, the buildings and sidewalks are pretty, there's a lot of public green space, and the river and harbor are both gorgeous, and it's a lot less of a tech bro dystopia than SF

The architecture, the skyline can't be compared when you visit. And the lake. So fucking beautiful.

Just cause Chicago is pretty doesn't mean Boston isn't prettier. The Charles has more green space along its banks, it's not just wall-to-wall skyscrapers, and the harbor is part of a real ocean 😤

Plus the buildings are older and the sidewalks are often brick with marble curbs instead of ugly concrete. At least we can agree that SF is not the nicest city in the states

I really like Berkeley. Spent a few weeks in the hills there for a conference and you get a nice view of the entire bay from there. Seeing the fog roll in and out each day was great.

San Fransisco is very pretty, and has good food. I like the street cars.
