I'll start. Fahrenheit is the superior temperature system for weather reporting. We should use metric for literally everything else, even Celsius for cooking, but I'll be dead in the cold ground before I abandon a system in which you actually get to experience both 0 degrees and 100 degrees. Freezing being 32 instead of 0 is literally the only downside, and it's not a hard number to remember. I'm prepared to die on this hill in the comments.

    I feel if tasting something requires forgetting the sensations of you primary tasting organ, there is a problem there.

    I like Sichuan food, mostly for the dumplings, but then I tasted the various Tibetan Xizang Autonomous Region dumplings which are objectively better.

      Ah well, I like the burn of the legs after a long bike ride too, so perhaps there is some masochism involved.

      Thanks for the tip on dumplings, I so miss eating out pre-covid. The last place we went was a normally packed shanghainese joint that had been deserted in the virus induced sinophobic panic.
