Health benefits? :shrug-outta-hecks: I just drink it cause I think it tastes good, and it's cheaper than chugging soft drinks for caffeine. A 750 mL vacuum flask of black tea with a bit of cream in it is my daily go-to, and I make my own green tea fruit blend for iced tea.
