    Like I'm an atheist but even from a Christian perspective, this is demon worship

      The gnostics believed that Yahwe was a pretender who created the imperfect corporeal realm, and that the true God was not so cruel, but that the Catholics had been duped into worshipping yahweh as God himself

        i had a gnostic phase when i was drifting away from the Catholicism i was raised with. makes sense.
