jesus christ, people shitting on AOC and people who work for Google while approving working for the literal MIC because ‘no consumption’

Not working for Raytheon is the bare minimum you can do as a leftist, this site can fuck out of here with that shit, don’t be a fucking ecofash.

Agreed, working for Raytheon is morally more or less on the same level as working for the CIA imo. Don't do it.

I didn't know I was sharing this site with a bunch of little Eichmanns. Are you fucking kidding me? Can I go one fucking place in the world without having to talk to scumbags who would lower themselves to working for the military-industrial complex? There are people in here saying it's ok? It's not you unprincipled fucking losers.

I get that anyone who doesn't want live in destitution their whole lives has to sell out to some extent but there's gotta be a floor on this thing and Raytheon isn't above it.

Like IMO the "floor on this thing" is weapons manufacturers, fossil fuels, the military/intelligence agencies, prisons, and big tobacco. Could make a case for big alcohol, Facebook, and anything having to do with the payday loan industry.

I would add finance, in general, but otherwise that's a very good list that I stick to.

Are you going to try to find a job there? I seriously think you should. Also, you don't need to just look at China (though working in China would be cool). Finding work outside the US certainly isn't a bad thing if you get the chance to do so, and it's definitely better than doing a job in the US that you don't feel comfortable with. Seeing as how things are going with the US, it may turn out to be a wise decision in the long term.

No I don't really have that kind of skill. I actually ended up applying at a community college. I didn't see the listing at first, would have saved you all some time. Disappointed to see so many people justifying Raytheon. And, to be clear, it was a subsidiary of a subsidiary of Raytheon that I'm not sure even deals with weapons, I just wanted to see what people here were thinking

Never thought I would see the day where hexbear users twist themselves into a pretzel to justify working for Raytheon
