i think people who were raised christian will just uncritically accept the prejudices that instilled, even after they leave the church. i have friends who were raised protestant and are now firmly anti-theist who will still refer to "christians and catholics" and genuinely don't seem to know or fully believe that catholics are also christian.
I mean those countries did have civil wars, and reactionary proletarians fought in defense of capital. I think the difference is not necessarily that the bonds of solidarity were stronger (at least not before the period of pitched struggle), but rather that those workers who did feel class solidarity also felt they had less to lose and more to gain in overthrowing capitalism.
and also, worth remembering, "as a black man" is the white redditor's favorite catchphrase. They will just lie.
Because they're saying that shit, and because they're redditors, I feel confident in guessing that they're not involved in any way with anti-racism, because the most basic slogan, the central tenant of civil rights activism in this country was and is that we're not free until we're all free. Black antiracists know it and Palestinians know it.
unlimited death on the first world and i'm not kidding rn
that's what dunking was supposed to be for!
Sure, a ton of Americans don't really know or care about Palestine, but you know who does? The progressive liberal activists who form the vanguard of Dems' ground game, and are following accounts that put pictures of massacred civilians on their social media feeds. The party's ongoing efforts to completely excise the people who do the most to make sure they win seats is actually gonna fucking kill the party finally. In 12 years the only people who will still be voting for them will be CPUSA members.

i mean it's a puppetshow version of how real organizing happens, right? an organization flourishes through the efforts of a small number of people who are contributing the majority of the time, effort, and resources, and even if the structure is pretty horizontal or the administrative group is transparent and open, detractors will inevitably focus on how their outsize control and influence signifies that they are separated from the rank and file.
well idk if that's the case

wrong decision. bring it back.
improved the site and its culture by a mile
You're just gonna ignore all the knife episodes?
i mean more likely the PSL registered her campaign as independent because the barrier for registering as a political party is higher
