We need more Leninist teachers, folks.

I'm not sure what the image quality is like but the relevant section reads: "In communist Russia in the early part of last century Lenin said: "Give me one generation of youth and I'll transform the world." Obviously a lone schoolteacher in the Hunter Valley is a devotee of Lenin. The school had to rein in the teacher who decided it would be a good idea to go away from the curriculum and lead Year 7 down the path of a one-sided view of the BLM protests. Outraged parents had it stopped."

This gem comes courtesy from todays edition of Murdoch rag The Daily Telegraph. It even includes an extra bit complaining about cancel culture - gotta love the idea that a few people complaining on twitter or whatever will "tear our country apart".

(also this might be better suited for The Dunk Tank, idk)

I've been working to flip some of my colleagues onto ideas of communism and anarchism, pretty successfully convincing one of the bio teachers that anarcho-syndicalism is a better situation for workers and would be better for society.

I've had a much easier time when talking to students, who are only too eager to hear about the contradictions of capitalism and how anarchism/communism would be the solution.

Public schools are a great place to flip people because it's so often a unionized workplace where the some of the worst effects of capitalism are hard to avoid or almost talked about.
