What’s even more American is the Marlins tested positive then traveled to Philadelphia without informing the Phillies, who they proceeded to expose to the virus.
That is actually if you think about it not that relevant, because at least at the start(not sure if they allow it now), players and support staff had to isolate anyway so that they wouldn't come into contact with the general population.
For example a coach in Germany was sanctioned because he went to a supermarket by himself. I'm not sure how the MLB handled it, but this should be doable even if you have not as low numbers as Europes were at that time.

How hard can it be? In Europe basically every football league has restarted without much issue, I don't get how they can be this incompetent.
