This was caused by a sudden influx of Soviet technicians who were well versed in screwing in lightbulbs. Google "Polish Enlightenment" for more info

I think the joke is that the soviet technicians came in to screw in lightbulbs and thus Poland was enLIGHTened. :meow-coffee:
