I don't think you were trying to do it, but it's a common silencing tactic with men. I get shut down by dudes when they're done talking, and instead of saying that they want to leave it, they pull this "have a nice day" thing, when it's clearly very passive aggressive.

I don't think we're at a productive point either, so I agree we should just leave it, but be aware of that. I think it's valuable to realize.
