Reddit is just sliding right so hard. I'd like to chalk it up to astroturfing, but I think they're just taking over organically. In a few years it'll just be 4chan, animal gifs, and state department propaganda.
I don't know I remember the Pao years having some pretty hard pushback and sway on reddit. When r/SRS and shit like r/circlebroke seemed to actually be a boogeyman. Even more recent r/AHS would make the front page fairly often. Now I feel like I hardly see it. It's like the banning of T_D and r/cth was some kind of switch that just sent it into overdrive. I joined r/tmor when it was an anti-conspiracy sub. Then it turned into a general meta right wing watch sub. Then started to get some TDS. Then during the primaries it switched to full lib "the left is just as bad" mode. I feel like everything has taken a huge step to the right over the last year. More than it was.
When you unsub from the defaults, you get a really skewed view of who's on reddit
Cool comment section. Doesn’t at all make me want to go on a murderous rampage at a country club.
one dead terrorist
Cool little development of 20 years of “war on terror”. If someone’s a “terrorist” they deserve to be killed like a dog without trial. Over time “terrorist” has come to mean “anyone I don’t agree with politically”. What could go wrong.
The /r/news thread is bad enough. Never thought I would see people claiming fucking self defense for a terrorist
Haha you seem to be confused, he’s white, he can’t be a terrorist :)
People in the comments are literally calling the victims terrorists 🙃🔫
When Nazis are getting killed they cry about "muh terrorists" and now they're saying they had it coming. Conservatives don't deserve to breath.
Ar15 and a 9mm pistol buy as soon as you can prices are already getting crazy and I can't envision a future where they go down dramatically.
Different user here. Anywhere that has goods in stock. Most gun shops have chud tendencies so you'll probably just have to ignore that. There has been a large increase in demand lately so options may be limited.
The SRA subreddit will likely have good info on this, as well.
I'd recommend making a private sale, personally, since a sale between two individuals is a lot harder to track than buying from a licensed firearms salesman.
That comes with risks of course, know what to look for when purchasing of course, like wear and tear, cleanness, rounds fired by previous owner etc. Also ask to handle the gun prior to buying to test the action and the trigger, and ask to see it disassembled if possible to physically verify it's condition.
If they gave a shit about human life they wouldn't be where they are
Be a shame if we all reported it for spreading misinformation.
only takes a few seconds; and its not like reddit can do much to us anymore.
Reports likely won't do shit, but contacting reddit advertisers/news outlets with screencaps might. They didn't ban anything until they started to get a whiff of bad press that threatened their bottom line.
