For me: Fallout New Vegas, Bloodborne, Hollow Knight, Skyrim, and Red Alert 2

EDIT: adding Stardew Valley to this, most delightfully charming game I've ever played

I think about this game a lot. The fact that you had player housing with so much control, big game systems that weren't entirely about combat, and a huge variety of emotes and things for roleplay.

Really makes me wish I had the capacity to make an MMORPG with a modest team; one that's not just another shitty clone of the shittiest versions of World of Warcraft - a game which isn't even an actual MMORPG anymore.

Modern Warcraft does everything in its power to prevent you from needing to even speak to another player. Even Dark Souls does more to encourage co-op.

It's so depressing. Just a shadow of what it used to be, and even what it used to be wasn't nearly as immersive or roleplaying as it should have been. Now I'm just playing Classic and waiting for the ride to be over again. It's weird because I'm making friends with people, and now that we all know what's to come this time around, I'm sitting here thinking about how the platform of these friendships is inevitably going to collapse, as there are no true MMORPGs with remotely the same feeling to migrate towards.
