The bird brained centrist types believe that despite having a few differences with their “friends across the aisle”, they’re all playing on the same team. Which is actually accurate, just not in the patriotic democratic sense they believe - they’re all on the same team of american exceptionalism, imperialism, and death march neoliberal capitalism.
