Facebook had a non-binary option in February 2014, but still doesn’t list pronouns outside of profiles.
TikTok added pronouns in December 2021 but still doesn’t display them outside of profiles
Instagram added pronouns to profiles on May 13th, 2021

And this commit looks like the one before the code was pushed to prod the next day, making it The Pronouns Commit even though there are plenty of other commits having to do with pronouns

Possibly. That’s pretty neat. No surprise it was a queer designer spearheading it. Doesn’t look like it’s displayed outside of profiles, but that’s definitely a place where the use case is different
Yep I think so, might've gotten semi absorbed into discord? It was always queer as hell from the beginning, everyone was a kid back in the early days, but we all quickly (or slowly) started coming out so basically everyone is LGB and/or T at this point lol
