The cenotes are really fucking incredible, truly a marvel of the natural world. Cave diving is scary though 😬
As a rule I just stay out of caves. If I was meant to be inside, it wouldn't be a scary hole in the ground.

there is no good reason to call someone into a cave. Nothing good happens to people in caves especially underwater caves
