    So just reclassify Russians as non-white. You'll probably have to consider Ukrainians and other Slavs as non-whites as well but I doubt a lot of westerners care about that. Americans hate Iranians and classify them as non-white because they hate them.

      I know race is a social construct, but you need at least some ability to visually classify people as "ethnic". I doubt you can distinguish a Slav from a German or a Frenchman without a really good set of calipers.

        You do not, in fact, need some ability to visually classify people as "ethnic". Remember that for centuries after the invention of race Irish people were not considered White.
