    Funny enough, I think if this becomes the norm, it would actually make a LOT of cops quit. Long, shitty hours? Most of the day is incredibly boring? All worth it for the times that they get to have a power trip and kill some guys. But actually having to be a worker? That crosses the line.

      idk if I could pull a gun on hostile/abusive customers I would definitely hate my job less. They're still afforded all the privilege and power that comes with being a cop.

        The future line will be "Don't yell at customer service! You never know when it's cops filling in after the staff walked out."

          I mean if we're going to take the concept of policing in capitalism to its logical conclusion we would just deputize cashiers, but then you have an armed workforce and that means :cool-zone:
