As a trans person I'm starting to constantly debate whether obtaining/carrying a gun is necessary for my safety, or still too risky given my struggles with depression.

          Depression is hardly ever rational. Still sucks that only people capable of self-reflection have to deal with crippling depression while history's greatest monsters are shameless.
