Daou on the other hand was a literal child soldier so he probably had a lot more experience to draw on.

You don't work at a place like McKinsey by accident. Someone could probably point to a current leftist that has done work for the CIA and repented, but the list must be vanishingly small.
Thankfully he's the former mayor of a town in Indiana and there is no reason to consider him at all, other than for his tremendous potential to damage another leftist presidential campaign.
It would never happen even if he suddenly had an epiphany. He's worked for groups that, no doubt, have dirt on him. And he has no organic connection to any working class group or movement. He would get removed immediately if he was sincere.
