yeah. i read a really good one about trans hubert recently as well, by the author of what might end up being the longest complete fanfiction i ever read. (trans ferdinand was a minor character)
i did that for a while, but eventually there were enough unfinished stuff i was reading i figured it would be worth being able to bookmark them. 37 of my bookmarks are tagged trans female character, which gives you an idea of my priorities as a reader.
it isn't completely finished, but they also did fates.

I found the one I read. It's hard to believe it's been 3 years since that game came out.
the girl who prayed for wings. her other fire emblem stuff is also good, including the 1.5 million word eagle among lions. she also did a really good trans shinji eva fic that sadly hasn't been updated since 2019.
also i looked in my bookmarks on ao3 and the most common tag is trans female character. lmao
