i saw some study a while ago where they actually measured the numbers of mice and shit living in wheat fields or something and also the areas around them, and you will be shocked to learn that when they did the harvest the animal numbers in the surrounding areas increased by roughly the amount of the animals that were living in the fields

i swear people think these (very fast) mice just stand frozen in front of the (very loud) harvesters and await the inevitable as it genocides their whole society instead of, you know, moving slightly to the side
