Only tangentially related, but does anyone else feel it's a bit wierd that on this site we need to mark pics of meat on the food com as nsfw but there's no expectation to put CWs for outright glorification of addictive substances like alcohol and drugs that comrades might be actively struggling to stay off of?
I don't think it's actual callousness towards comrades struggling with addiction because I've never seen anything but sympathy when the topic is brought up, but it just seems like an odd cultural oversight.
The western left glorifies substance abuse and then wonders why we're undisciplined and disorganized.
yes, a lot of other online places I'm in will do cw or spoiler tags for alcohol and drug posts/jokes/whatever just like they do for meat

on a more serious note though for me both panels are the bottom panel except in the recovery one I'm running around looking for a window to jump out of or a hose with water or something. it is true that life can seem dull for years after that though
