It's funny that they feel at all that they have to cave to the socdem left, even microscopically and optically, after basically snubbing them for the last year and a half, putting more borders up, more funding for police, continuing operations in Afghanistan, and the whole funding Ukraine thing. You do not have to hand it to them for learning how to barely not shit themselves in the midterms.
