What is a US coast guard ship doing so far from the US coast line? Lets call this what it is. "Solomon islands refuses to let US imperialist enforcement boat impose itself on their national sovereignty."

If you want this to go anywhere, you better have some of that John Guy dough.

The Solomon Islands recently signed a secretive security pact with Beijing and has threatened to ban or deport foreign journalists for ‘disrespectful’ coverage

Manufacturing consent for a coup so quickly!

threatened to ban or deport foreign journalists

Shipping refuse to the west is better than dumping it into the ocean

POV: Your country is gonna get coup'd.

But what are the odds the US gets Australia to do their own Vietnam.

Nah, the only reason the Solomon Islands can even do this is because they just signed a security agreement with China. They've picked a side, and they're confident China will protect their sovereignty in the face of the American beasts.

Im really undesided if afgistan was our last war before geting thanos snapped out of existence or if Taiwan is gonna be. Anyways I know the Lenin quote about how something can become historically irrelevant but politically still relevant. I think we are working on that last one :lenin-sure:

The last "relevant" war the United States started was Iraq in 2003. That was our terminal crisis. Since the failed neocon project the United States' global influence has been fading, it was just happening so slowly at first that nobody noticed.

My hope is that brics has the ability to dethrone the us dollar as world reserve, I think once we lose all that free money and cheap trade the conditions here will be ripe for something stronger, the only real energy I see inside the ameikkkan state is in the on going union drive it just needs a party or partys to unify the struggle across sectors. Then we can enter what has been described by leftist scholars as the "Really cool zone" Parodys in minecraft aside, we are geting somewhere maybe not at the speed we would hope yet. Yet. But better then prior to 2016

The US is behaving like a school bully who gives you suspicious looking food with a shit-eating grin and asking "are ya gonna eat it?"
