Just saw this today, seems like there is a decent amount of crossover with the chapo community so I thought I would post this here. Personally I am just heartbroken at this news, I have been watching this show since middle school and it has only gotten better as time went on. Maybe it is silly but Venture bros has been a part of my life through so much that I can't help but feel crestfallen. Can't have anything good in this shit country I guess. Lets all have a drink and remember this show

    Damn, I was shook when they cancelled Metalocalypse without a proper ending :( now this. WHAT IS THE WORLD ANYMORE!? Seriously tho, i seriously enjoyed the last couple seasons, seeing everyone grow and mature, Brock get into pegging, that kinda thing.

        It's already incredibly unusual that they let the creators make a season every three years or so, and I genuinely appreciate that Adult Swim did that for so long, but why not just tell them this will be the last one and let them make it count?

    Damn, the first three seasons of this show were basically everything to me when they were airing. I remember when the promo stuff for the second season came out and it was all “Love never blows up and gets killed.” We were all so excited to see how they moved past the finale of the first season. More innocent times, I guess. I can’t think of a single character on that show that I disliked.

    The Monarch singing “Hard Candy Christmas” is still my favorite Christmas Carol.

    This sucks. I'd be okay with Venture Brothers ending if Doc and Jackson got to end it on their own terms, but just axing it while they were writing the next season is heartless. The Venture Brothers was a truly unique show, and even though numerous shows have been influenced by it, none have really matched it.

    its crazy to think that this show has been a huge constant through all the weird times in my life. I must have rediscovered it three or four times and just binged the whole thing from start to finish. pretty amazing that the creators were still into making it, to have that same kind of passion for nearly two decades

    Same. Been watching since middle school too. The only dvds/blurays I own are VB, I pirate everything else. Even bought the Art and Making of book. I'm ready to be engulfed by the coolzone....
