Still love that scene where the German officer is trying to get the Alabamians to say "Danke Schön" properly in preparation for the official start of German being the national language (on pain of execution, no less)

This is kinda what it feels like in my town except it's walking the edge of complaining about the inevitable urbanization of the town.
