Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)

Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

A former head of the Danish military intelligence agency has been charged with revealing state secrets to the press and faces a prison sentence of up to four years. The regime is very secretive about the case and refuses to explain any details or what secrets has been revealed but the former spymaster has confirmed to the press how his agency allowed allowed the NSA to tap into internet cables running thorough Denmark in order to spy on top officials and political leaders of neighbouring countries.

The theory that this is the secrets the spymaster turned whistleblower has revealed is corroborated by the fact that the regime mentions the relationship to foreign powers and how the alleged revelations has discredited Danish intelligence services and hurt their collaboration with spy services of other nations.

During the investigation the police has tapped the former spymaster's phone and bugged rooms in his home.

Earlier this year in a similar case a former minister of defence had been charged with similar accusations. In a TV show he had proudly confirmed that the Danish state helps the US doing illegal surveillance against dissidents and rivaling nations. The charges were dropped however when parliament refused to suspend his immunity. They refused to do so as the regime refused to provide any details on what exactly he was accused of doing.

It is entirely possible that the regime's hand is being led by Washington who continues to project significant power over the tiny kingdom.

What the hell is going on with the Viking spies? They are spying for the US? And that discredits Denmarks ability to work with their allies, such as the US? Is this just impotent throes against the reality of US vassalage?

What discredits their credibility is not that they are doing Washington's bidding, after all that is their purpose. No, the problem is that they are seemingly unable to shut up about it and keep up the liberal-democratic charades.
