Pay attention to Dr. Roy. He just comes out and says it. Just right out and says they should murder undesirable children. Jesus fucking christ.

    I dunno.

I have seen cases of brian dead people getting millions in care while living people struggle. It id beyond unethical in those cases to prolong life. So euthanasia is an important tool to improve healthcare outcomes.

You haven't seen misery till you have seen people's body dying while they were still alive. You ever seen a person's spine? When my times comes I would hope the system has the decency to to me if I can't do myself. The system will try to misuse the power but it is important for self care

What ratio of murders to genuine assisted suicides is acceptable to you?

Given that society normally finds ways to murder vulnerable people I don't know that it woudl actually prevent any murders to avoid this.

They are billed millions in care, they don’t get millions in care, they get a bed, a machine and nurse time. It’s all very dodgy moral grounds anyway, but seems like solution should be a) braindeath certification by randomly chosen group of doctors b) some significant time elapsed without changes c) some waiver which is signed with like reaching adulthood (if I can’t consent, and more than 6 months passes without improvements blah blah).

I agree, but Canada is not a humane caring society that is doing everything necessary to accommodate the needs of terminally ill people, chronically ill people, and disabled people.

The problem isn't assisted suicide. The problem is that it's being implemented in a capitalist state that uses neglect as a means to coerce vulnerable people in to killing themselves.
