Here you have one of the most famous politicians in the country merging with a computer.

Where exactly does the software end and John Fetterman's consciousness begin?

It's very obvious that Pennsylvania will be sending a computer program to the US senate where inevitably it will be hacked.

MSNBC sat down with John Fetterman and his machine to see where the man ends and the machine begins.

John Fetterman is using closed captioning because of a hearing impairment. He's just reading the words spoken from a screen.

Fox News is telling their audience that Fetterman will be the first cyborg congressman.

Tucker at home with his wife tonight.

"Honey, listen! Fetterman's a slow-brained dem guy who need the machine to think. A dem machine. Not surprising. I'm Alpha so I don't need a machine. But yesterday when I was reading off the teleprompter - I thought about something. I am always reading off a teleprompter. Therefore - I am the Übermensch. It's a revelation. It's so simple. Alpha plus machine equals Übermensch. It's math. It's an undeniable fact! Nietzsche didn't know about computers but I know."

"That's nice. Can you pass the potatoes?"

"That's all you have to say?!?"

"C'mon. Every other month it's the same thing..." She then does an excellent Tucker impression with gestures " 'I am the Alpha and Omega. I'm the Übermensch. You might not understand. Here's why...' I'm kinda bored with it to be honest. Didja have a look at that super-cute condo in Hawaii we need to buy? We need to buy it."

    "Yeah," mumbled.

    "When?"

"When I say it is the time to—"

She interrupts him to do it again: "I am the Alpha and—"

"Alright. Fucking alright! I'll call the condo guy tomorrow. Pass the fucking potatoes!"

She smiles sweetly and passes the potatoes to her wannabe Übermensch. She knows who is really the boss. So does he.

All Fettermen has to do now is come out dressed as a techpriest or Borg and give a speech while obviously snickering

Why the fuck do they care so much about this particular race? Does PA have a lot of electoral sway or something?

I have a few pet theories, although none of them are really based on hard evidence:

      • Pennsylvania went red in 2016, so to them this is like Georgia. They want to invest in Pennsylvania.

      • Dr. Oz is the more educated, wealthier one in the suit this time and his enemy is blue collar. They are pretty excited because it's how they see the world. Not only as "dirty rich" vs "clean rich", but now its the democrat that's the uneducated rube on the lower rung, so this is a chance for them to unashamedly be elitists again.

      • In lib electoralism, Fetterman has a chance of winning some non-voters over. Fox can't automatically write Fetterman off for being non-white, a woman, or queer and just full on culture war issues because to some suburbanites, Fetterman is "one of us". No, this time they have to be specific on why they hate Fetterman: his policies. He wants a better life for "the help" who shouldn't have a life outside of making the rich money until they die of starvation and get replaced by the next cattle. I don't mean this in a stupidpol way, but he has the best shot of winning over some white people who have sided with the butcher because they considered whites to be "prized cattle"

Dumb bullshit aside, really sucks he had a stroke. One solid junior senate term from a state like PA + good public speaking pretty much would guarantee any middle aged politician a presidential run.
