In the rich suburbs where people have fantasies about confronting the thieves, no not really. But i lived somewhere were i had packages stolen a couple times. Just had to hope it would be there by the time i got back home.
I imagine the people in the suburbs are the ones with these door cameras, so all the videos shared around makes them imagine its happening to people like them.
Maybe. It's also possible that the footage was taken from actual bad and poor neighborhoods where theft actually tends to matter, and the rich boomers living in the gated McMayoville neighborhood in Florida came across it and became paranoid
