we started REALLY STRONG willie, juanito and tiptap are bangers but we eventually get to striker which is like the laziest fucking mascot i've ever seen generic ass cartoon dog, i am always kind fond of the weirdos on there because people were trying some stuff out

Only good thing about Striker is the pinball table he’s on. One of the last generations of pinball before home console video games kind of erased the whole industry.

Goleo was born in Botswana. He is the sixth in his family to bear this name.

He lived well when he was captured by a net launched by hunters (For this reason he is terrified of any type of net, even the keeper), the ship was eventually freed by the ship's captain and he began to work as a sailor on the ship. Some time later, he docked in the port of Hamburg and finally started living in Germany, where he met Pille and the two became great friends.

The two became mascots for the German Cup when Goleo had gone with Pille to the "Registration Center for World Cup balls", but discovered a mascot registration queue, where he found the most diverse types: A giant curry sausage, and a Bavarian pretzel.

Currently, he and Pille live on the road, but for some time they will have a fixed address: the German Cup. Finally, his greatest wish is to meet his parents, who would certainly be proud to have such a famous son!

Some deep Goleo VI lore :very-smart:

this is something i feel like i would read on a one piece backstory that is just really sad out of nowhere like HAHA LOOK AT THE FUNNY LION, followed by HE ONLY KNOWS SUFFERING

Writing a 1700 page novel about my cartoon wolf mascot's immense personal tragedy and how he is haunted still by his dying brother's condemnation of him and how he plays soccer to escape his demons but they still tear him to pieces daily, hence the heroin habit

Zakumi, Fuleco and Zabivaka are way too cute

    But no one beats Naranjito

As a German, i fondly remember how many unfunny jokes about his lack of pants Goleo gave us.

    Zakumi supremacy.

Arrogant Leopards that dye their hair green to camouflage with the pitch and need frequent rests, including sleeping on stage, are based.

fuleco being a sega genesis character makes sense in brazillian lore as i think they are still being produced in here

Naranjito seems like a fun Orange. Ciao terrifies me for some reason. Seems like an emotionless anime villain.

    Goleo solos.

Still baffled by how shite the South Korea and Japan one is considering how many well known mascot characters are from the area.
