It's an overlooked component of transphobia directed at trans men that they are loathed for their ability to completely deny the male objectification of AFAB people in a way that's even more total than what the butchest lesbian is capable of. A lesbian is still routinely fetishized, but getting your breasts removed, becoming able to grow a beard, maybe even going bald, that's completely pissing over straight dude's claims to all bodies read as feminine and it's driving this wreck of a man insane. It's very clear to me Peepeeterson had a raging boner fro pre-transition Elliot Page, maybe he still finds him attractive, and he can't handle that at all.
Yeah, butches are probably hit harder by the bathroom panic than many trans women. I don't pass well yet, but when i go to a public bathroom while masked and wearing a skirt and one of my nice ladylike cloaks, nobody bats an eye. And i don't even have my name and legal gender changed yet (because my country really is backwards as hell in that regard), terfs will be furious when they find out i'm using the lady's room without the proper papers lol.

There's already been some successful trials for womb transplants for cis women, albeit just for long enough to carry a pregnancy. We're not THAT far off

I think what I am about to say applies to the ideological frameworks of most conservatives but for most it is unconscious where as for Catholics it is active and explicit. Catholicism is explicitly built on a framework of neoplatonism and in this structure there materially exists a higher plane of "ideas," which they equate with god, where the ideal form of all things exists. In this framework a trans person "changing their body" is a contravention of this ideal world as created by god. From here you get discussions of substances and appearances and characteristics, it is all EXTENSIVELY thought out and logically valid just really really stupid because the apriori assumptions are really stupid. This is one reasons that the church came out vocally against trans people as directly attacking god, because since humanity is made in gods image changing gender identities attack the idea of god. I am sure an actual neoplatonist/catholic will come along and say I am straw manning them or getting their beliefs wrong or something, but honestly this is the rough just of it as I remember from theology class in HS and the courses I took in college; and tbqh I don't care because it was never convincing even when a priest taught it and I had to memorize it for an exam.
