Sacking your leaders is just something you do in the middle of winning a war.

Lmao is zelenskyy gonna get Ngo Dinh Diem'd? He'll hemorrhage American funds to his corrupt friends for years until Mr:cia: closes the tap and stops returning Vlad's calls and he gets blasted by his own?

Now, is this about trying to save face or is this about getting even more reactionary freaks into power?

I mean the government might be so dysfunctional that it actually needs to purge corrupt governors to not collapse. So much military aid is getting pocketed that the Western overseers are actually pissed. Corruption is excusable, but not if it hurts the ROI too much.

How long before they find some way to pin this on Russia?

NYT Headline in a week: "Russia releasing corruption mind-virus in Ukraine"

Wasn't he doing the opposite too? I believe he was reported as being fair instrumental in limiting the damage to Kiev through preparedness and making some of the best tactical decisions in the early days of the war. Sounded like he basically knew what he was doing and got shot in the street for not being :frothingfash: enough to send wave upon wave of men (women, children) into the meat grinder until ????? and then victory.

What's gonna keep them quiet about Zelensky? And what motivated Zelensky of all people to clean house? Now I'm wondering if the people he got rid of were the ones that are actually clean.

Zelenskyyyyy is seen as some sort of man-god now, so whatever they say about him is just going to get brushed off as Russian disinformation anyways.

He can basically do whatever the fuck he wants at this point.

Zelensky could murder a child on live TV and walk around with blood stained clothes and libs would still worship him

The EU money train was starting to indicate that it would stop running if they didn't trim the corruption tree a little.

I don't try to make fun of someone who doesn't dress up, but Zelensky never wearing a suit makes him look like :doomer: to me.

I think it's partly a branding exercise, but if I were a few bad days away from a firing squad I'd probably dress like that too. Partly because that's how I dress anyway.

this has happened a few times before

Frantically saying that the purge of corrupt officials will help secure more aid somehow.
