Does Helldiver's satire work? I just checked the Steam community post about someone called spitz and everyone in there is complaining about woke. Seems like bloodthirsty chuds love it.
No. Someone on the reddit threads about the PSN thing not working in some countries said "Imagine playing a game about democracy in North Korea."
Obviously not. It's militaristic bullshit like any other videogame. Lots of satire going on when all your game is is grinding to become the ultimate ubermensch supersoldier
Satire working is not contingent on everyone being smart enough to understand it (see: Starship Troopers for the exact same reasons)
