Strange, usually games that come out for consoles are solid with controller mapping. It worked for me, but I'm using an XB1 controller for my pc. Agreed that this is the type of game that works best with a controller, but still worth playing with mouse + keyboard IMO.
It doesn't work with my controller and mouse control kinda feels very wrong. 😔
